FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: sensor having sensitive surface for perception of blood pressure in patient's artery positioned below includes transducer, side wall, flexible diaphragm and coupling flowing medium. Side wall is positioned at some distance from transducer, and it supports the latter above artery located below. Flowing medium couples sensitive surface of transducer and flexible below. Flowing medium couples sensitive surface of transducer and flexible diaphragm to each other and transmits pulse oscillations of blood pressure in artery positioned below from flexible diaphragm to sensitive surface of transducer.
