FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment. The centrifugal blood pump system consists of: a centrifugal pump with inlet, outlet and impeller with a rotary shaft adapted for engaging the upper swivel bearing and the lower pivot bearing. The upper swivel bearing runs from the top of the housing into the inlet. The lower swivel bearing runs from the bottom of the housing into its interior space. The blades on the upper surface of the impeller extend radially from the center of the impeller. The magnet is mechanically linked to the impeller. Electric motor for magnetic engagement with the magnet provides magnet and impeller rotation. The downstream tube has a diameter of 4.6 mm, its first end is connected to the inlet, and the second end is adapted for insertion into a vein lumen. The tube inlet stream comprises an additional side port. The outlet stream tube has inner diameter of 4-6 mm. Its first end is connected to the outlet, and the second end is adapted to create a peripheral vein anastomosis. The outlet stream tube includes an additional side port for controlled access to the fluid path in the outlet stream tube. The control unit includes a processor, memory, battery and cable. The processor is adapted to control the speed of the impeller ranging from 50 to 1500 ml/min for 7 days. The mean value of the peripheral vein wall shear stress is from 2.5 to 10 Pa and the pulse pressure value in the peripheral vein is less than that in return artery.
EFFECT: invention provides increased diameter of peripheral arteries and veins.
