SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of alternatively mounting annular gaskets and disc cutters with overlapping value more than working one in assembling attachment on cutter shafts; mounting cutter shafts in assembling attachment in such a way that one cutter shaft is fixed against lengthwise motion and other cutter shaft is mounted with possibility of lengthwise motion; securing disc cutters to cutter shafts and mounting cutter shafts together with assembling attachment in bearing units of shears; dismounting assembling attachment and adjusting overlapping value of disc cutters.
