FIELD: plastic metal working, namely apparatuses for mechanically cutting tubes, mainly at constructing and repairing oil- and gas manifold pipelines, possibly for cutting hollow vessels in other industry branches. SUBSTANCE: tube cutter includes car supporting cutting tool and its rotation drive unit, cut-in mechanism and mechanism for feeding cutting tool in the form of driving sprockets with chains embracing tube and remountable spindle carrying supporting wheels. Rotation drive unit is changeable one, it is mounted in one wall of reduction gear of mechanism for rotating and feeding cutting tool. Reduction gear transfers torque to shaft of cutting tool by means of flexible link, for example by means of chain. In one end of remountable spindle at side of cutting tool eccentrically relative to its axis, guiding roller is mounted in bracket. Profile of guiding roller corresponds to that of cutting tool and it may rotate around its own axis. Bracket is mounted with possibility of rotation around axis of remountable spindle with subsequent fixation of it by means of spring-loaded lever. EFFECT: enlarged operational possibilities of tube cutter due to use of changeable drive unit, enhanced quality of tube end working due to high accuracy of cutting. 2 cl, 13 dwg
