FIELD: manufacture of monolithic linings and shaped products for heat units and steel making furnaces, furnaces for smelting of aluminium and well known metals, heat units of ceramic, refractory, cement and other production processes. SUBSTANCE: refractory concrete mix comprises aluminium oxide-based filler and binder which is complex of finely dispersed materials including Al₂O₃ or mixture of Al₂O₃ and SiO₂ having 6-0.1 mcm functions, high-alumina calcium aluminate cement, defloculant, magnesium oxide or alumomagnesial spinel having fractions greater than 20 mcm, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: refractory filler, 7-3 mm fraction, 25-45; 3-1 mm fraction, 15-35, 1-0 mm fraction, 20-45; Al₂O₃ or mixture of Al₂O₃ and SiO₂, 6-0.1 mcm fraction, 2-25; high alumina calcium alumina calcium aluminate cement, more than 40 mcm fraction, 2-8; MgO or alumomagnesial spinal, more than 20 mcm fraction, 3-15; defloculant, 0.1-1.5.
