SUBSTANCE: invention describes new derivatives of isoxazole of the general formula (I) where R1 means hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl-, hydroxyl-, alkylthio-, amino-, alkylamino-, alkanoylhydroxy-, alkoxycarbonyl-, carboxy-, carbamoyl-, nitro- or cyano-group; R2 means amino-group; m = 1-3; n = 1-6; ring A means phenyl ring, naphthyl ring or aromatic 5- or 6-membered heterocycle; X means oxygen or sulfur atom. The above described compounds show the strong inhibitory effect on monoamine oxidase activity and they are effective therapeutic and prophylactic agents against neuropathy (Parkinson's disease and others). Also, invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing derivatives of isoxazole as an active component.
