FIELD: construction, in particular, unloading of walls of buildings and structures with the aim of their further safe service. SUBSTANCE: unloading pillar permanently takes up the workload due to exclusion of the effect of strains of the building base and members on the unloading force in pillars, as well as exclusion of the massive hydraulic system. The device represents a system of metal pillars installed coaxially one under another, under load- carrying structures (cross-bars) resting on the unloaded walls. The metal pillars carry an unloading mechanism in the form of levers with arms of the rated length, hinge-joined to the unloading pillar; one end of the lever is hinge- joined to the pillar of the above-lying storey engageable with the load-bearing member, and the other end of the lever is located under the unloaded member (cross-bar).
