FIELD: high-value storage capacitors. SUBSTANCE: capacitor has case accommodating at least one block of components and associated leads; block of components has series-connected extreme and intermediate components incorporating porous electrodes with activated carbon particles and three-dimensional collector, electronic isolating separators, and electronic conducting collector; separators and electrodes are impregnated with electrolyte. Capacitor is provided with hold-down devices mounted in case and joined together as well as electric conductors used to equalize voltage across series-connected components of block and installed in respective holes of separators; components of block are covered with coating and additional layer is provided between this coating and case; the latter is self-bearing structure accommodating flexible electrodes. Manufacturing process includes manufacture of capacitor components, introduction of specified amount of electrolyte, encapsulation with shape- saving sealing compound and polymer which constitutes self- bearing case upon curing.
