FIELD: amino acids, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of isolation of individual amino acids from their mixtures. Process is carried out at increased rate of amino acids passing through anionite AV-17-2P in OH-form and the use of sodium hydroxide solution as an eluent converting sorbent to the parent form. Method provides the improved separation of mixture components by 2.4-fold, decreased time of separation cycle by 3 times as compared with equilibrium regime of process carrying out. Method excludes the use of additional stage of ionite regeneration. Invention can be used in chemical, food, microbiological industries and agriculture. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of separation of mixture of tryptophan and phenylalanine, essential decrease of process duration, simplified procedure. 1 ex
