FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials used in the road construction industry, namely modifying compositions for polymer-bitumen binders. The composition is a nanosuspension and consists of: a carrier medium and carbon nanotubes dispersed in it in an amount of 0.00005-0.005, wt. %, in addition to 100% of the mass of the carrier medium. Moreover, the carrier medium is II Vacuum processing or a residual selective purification extract. At the same time, the average reduced particle diameter of dispersed carbon nanotubes is up to 10 nm. Polymer-bitumen binder contains bitumen and the following components in excess of 100% of the weight of bitumen: the specified modifying composition in an amount of 1-3.5, wt. %, and styrene-butadiene styrene polymer in an amount of 2.5–5.5, wt. %.
EFFECT: increase in the physico-mechanical properties of polymer-bitumen binder, namely, improving heat resistance and resistance to low temperatures, increasing elasticity while maintaining plasticity, while inhibiting aging and improving adhesion.
