FIELD: medicine, particularly, reanimatology. SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of index of cerebral oxygenation after stabilization of general state of patient. If this index reduces to less than 60%, or instability during 30 min is observed, conditions of artificial ventilation of lungs are changed to stabilize and normalize the indices of cerebral oxygenation. If values exceeds 60%, conditions of artificial oxygenation are left unchangeable. Method allows determination of optimal conditions of artificial ventilation of lungs in reanimation patients with craniocerebral injury by indices of cerebral oxygenation and its monitoring. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
