FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of pouring predetermined-content melt metal prepared in melting furnace into liquid metal receiver; sustaining constant temperature and level of liquid bath; supplying melt metal from metal receiver with constant flowrate at least in the form of two streams onto surface of rotary crystallizer cooled by means of cooling agent for forming films with thickness and width values sustained constant in time and intensively cooling them for forming flakes. Method is realized in sealed chamber. Melting furnace with crucible is arranged in said chamber. Crucible has in bottom central opening joined with valve of locking device connected with mechanism for controlling draining of melt into metal receiver. Rotary cooled crystallizer is placed under metal receiver and it is in the form of hollow drum made of high heat conductivity material. Drum has horizontal rotation axis and is joined with system for feeding cooling agent. Metal receiver is provided with heater and it has in bottom at least two calibrated holes spaced by the same distance from cylindrical surface of drum.
