FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: smelt jet is dispersed in injector unit by inert gas streams, the relative gas input being 0.0002-0.0012 that of smelt. Pulverized smelt drops in the gas-metal flare stream collide with hardening surface of crystallizer rotating with velocity 2.5-1.2 m/s (2200 rpm). Yield of scaly-shaped powder 100- 1250 mcm fraction is 84.1%. EFFECT: improved procedure. 1 tbl
