FIELD: electric machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: autogenic generator 1 which generates electricity by means of electromagnetic coupling between immobile windings 2 and permanent magnets which travel inside during reciprocating motion of one or more pistons of two-stroke internal combustion engine. Cylinders 5 matched with pistons 4 have conical pre-combustion chamber 10 open towards cylinders 5. Engine operates with changeable compression strokes and magnets 3 and windings 2 are so arranged that relation between quantities of mechanical energy used to generate electric energy during two different movements of magnets 3 equals relation between two degrees of compression produced in cylinders 5 during two different strokes of pistons 4 integrated with magnets 3 multiplied by relation between two magnitudes of common efficiency of engine with respect to mentioned degrees of compression. EFFECT: improved economical operation, decreased emission of toxic gases in free-piston internal combustion engines. 15 cl, 9 dwg
