FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, sealing devices of rotating shafts passed through the walls of the interior of devices filled with liquid or gas, applicable in engines, reduction gears, motor vehicles inclusive. SUBSTANCE: the seal has a set of equidimensional rigid washers made of antifriction material, fastened in a pack for a tight fit in the location seat and fit on the shaft with a clearance between the washers and shaft. Elastic film-like edges are made integral with the cylindrical surfaces of the washers on the outer and inner sides. The diameter of the inner cut of the respective edge is less than the diameter of the shaft, and the diameter of the outer cut of the respective edge is larger than the diameter of the seat cylindrical surface. Made on the flat end surfaces of each washer, integral with it, are projections on one side (their height equals half the thickness), and recesses corresponding to the projections - on the other side for buttoning the washers to one another at assembly of the pack. The clearance between the washers and the inner cylindrical surface of the seat is less than the clearance between the washers and the shaft. EFFECT: simplified process of manufacture. 2 cl, 6 dwg
