SUBSTANCE: proposed connector for non-coaxial transmission of light energy is designed for connection of multimode radiation source having practically round emission profile with divergence angle αs, to multimode optical fiber with cross-section area Ac via intermediate section of feeding multimode optical fiber whose end has section of cross-section area Af connected to mentioned radiation source and whose one part is fused to optical fiber. Feeding fiber includes gradually narrowing section and is fused to mentioned multimode optical fiber FF in area of gradually narrowing section under following relation between reception angle αf of feeding fiber and emission angle αs of radiation source (LS): αf = kαs, where k is positive constant exceeding one.
