FIELD: vinyl acetate copolymer fibers. SUBSTANCE: fibres are made from copolymers containing: (a) at least 40.0 mass-% of monomers of vinyl acetate; (b) 15.0 to 50.0 mass-% of monometers of one or several chlorine-free monomers not saturated with ethylene whose homopolymerizates have glass transition temperature T_g of 40 to 120 C; (c) monomers of one or several monomers not saturated with ethylene whose homopolymerizates have glass transition temperature T_g from 100 to 0 C.
