FIELD: transport engineering; suspensions. SUBSTANCE: shock absorber has two support and mechanical train converting reciprocating into rotary motion and including housing with fitted-in vertical screw with nut engaging with flywheel. Mechanical train is made in form of inertia mechanism whose flywheel is made in form of cylinder installed for rotation inside housing and for engaging with screw installed in lower part of housing for rotation by means of spring-loaded disk installed for movement in axial direction on screw and press-fitted to end face surface of lower part of cylinder. Ball nut is secured on lower end of hollow rod installed for movement in housing. Lower support is connected with housing. Upper support is connected with upper end of hollow rod. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, effective killing of vibrations in wide frequency spectrum, provision of smooth riding of vehicle along roads. 1 dwg
