FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used to determine refraction in users of bifocal contact and orthokeratology lenses in myopia correction. For this purpose, first, refraction is determined in the put on bifocal contact lens or after removal of the orthokeratological lens by means of abberometry. Smallest refraction value in the pupil zone is selected. That is followed by a duochromic test with presentation of optotypes on a red and green background. Correction is made to the refraction value corresponding to the strength of the additional glass, which is equal to improving visual acuity on a green and red background.
EFFECT: invention provides obtaining the most accurate data of refraction value, which is necessary for correct performance of various functional examinations in this category of patients.
