FIELD: grinding by means of abrasive belts in machine engineering, instrument making for working prismatic, cylindrical, spherical parts. SUBSTANCE: part is fed to working zone formed by arrangement of grinding surfaces of belts one opposite to another with possibility of mutual inclined motion and guides directed to side of resultant value of speeds of grinding surfaces. Part is moved in grinding zone and it is removed out of it by means of cutting efforts. Special mechanism is used for controlling angle value between grinding belts. Part is hold in grinding zone with the aid of stopper having timer. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities at belt grinding of small-size parts. 8 cl, 4 dwg
