FIELD: working of materials hand-to-grind and disposed for burns. SUBSTANCE: materials are ground and polished by wheel periphery. Part and wheel are driven to relative displacements. Wheel is arranged loosely on spherical neck of spindle. It is additionally given angular oscillations relative to center of spindle neck sphere. Oscillation frequency is multiple or equal to wheel rotation frequency and is matched with it. Angular oscillatory motions are imparted from profiled drum mounted on tail spindle, as a result of which angular position of wheel varies by value (±α) relative to plane perpendicular to axis of rotation and passing through center of sphere. Dependence for determination of wheel maximum slope angle is given. EFFECT: improved quality of surface, enhanced efficiency. 4 dwg
