FIELD: production of cast iron. SUBSTANCE: process involves first stage of preliminary reduction of iron compounds in first chamber having wall symmetric during rotation and second stage of further reduction of iron compounds in second chamber located under first chamber by means of fuel and oxygen supplied into second chamber. Reduction gas passes upwards into first chamber for implementation of preliminary reduction, oxygen is also fed into first chamber. Iron compounds melt in first chamber at least partially and run down wall towards mentioned second chamber. Iron compounds are brought into first chamber in the form of particles with the help of carrier gas which forms one or more jets. Oxygen is also supplied into first chamber in the form of one or more jets having tangential component. Speed of injection of oxygen is higher that of injection of iron compounds in its jets. Speed of injection of iron compounds is such that particles reach wall of first chamber in partially melted state as minimum. EFFECT: process is easy for realization. 25 cl, 6 dwg
