FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: liquid iron or steel semiproduct is produced from iron ores and raw materials having, at least, partially fine fraction forming additions. In this case, raw materials are reduced directly before sponge iron in, at least, one reducing zone. Sponge iron is melted in melting gasifier with supply of carries of carbon and oxygen-containing gas. Reducing gas is produced in gasifier and supplied to reducing zone for chemical conversion and withdrawn in form of gas ready for use. Gas ready for use coming from zone of preliminary heating, in case of necessity, after introduction of a part of reducing gas leaving the reducing zone after removal of CO is used for production of hot-briquetted iron. In so doing, fine ore is subjected to preliminary heating in zone of preliminary heating, then, to final reduction in, at least, one reducing zone and supplied to device for compaction and briquetting. Gas ready for use after heating is supplied to, at least, one reducing zone to obtain fluidized bed, and after passing the bed, gas is directed to zone of preliminary heating with partial burning to raise the temperature and produce fluidized bed. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 19 cl, 3 dwg
