FIELD: devices for length cutting of logs into lumbers in the conditions of small private enterprises. SUBSTANCE: device comprises motor body 3 connected to which is guide bar 30 for saw chain 17. Two hollow guide members 1,2 for a movable platform with rollers are attached with the lower part to the motor body perpendicularly to the saw bar. The peripheral surfaces of the upper parts of the guide members are interconnected by rigid hollow tie 4. Ring 6 is welded to tie 4 through additional hollow member 5. The upper part of screw 7 with a trapezoidal thread of the screw-type positioning and fixing of the platform on the guide members is installed in ring 6 for rotation about the longitudinal axis. Inserts 2 are press-fitted from above in the guide members and are rigidly connected to them by welding.
