FIELD: manufacture of plastic containers. SUBSTANCE: for manufacture of moulded plastic container made of polyethylene terephthalate the blank is preliminarily heated and introduced into a split mould. The mould walls are heated. Then a plug is installed in the blank, the first medium is injected in it. The blank gets expanded. The blank is moulded by pressing to the mould walls with maintaining of pressure inside the blank during a preset period of time. After removal of the first medium from the blank the second medium is injected in it under pressure. The moulded blank is cooled down for a preset period of time, during which the blank turns into a ready - made part. The mould walls are heated to a temperature of 130 to 240 C. The first gas is used for moulding as the working medium, and evaporated nitrogen at a pressure of not below 2070 kPa and temperature below -100 C is used for cooling. Evaporated nitrogen is fed to the blank simultaneously with removal of the first gas from it. Manufacture of containers can withstand a filling temperature of 100 C without considerable shrinkage and loss of strength. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 5 dwg, 3 tbl, 2 ex
