FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is cleaning paste which comprises alkaline component, abrasive component and water. Alkaline component is mixture of calcined soda and caustic soda in amount which adjusts pH of paste at not more then 10.5. Abrasive component is opal cristobalite rock with particle size of not greater than 70 mcm and hardness of not greater then 6 by Moos scale, ratios of components being as follows, kg: opal cristobalite rock, 66.7-72.24; calcined soda, 0.4-0.5; caustic soda, 0.1-0.3 kg; and water, 77.76-90.0 l. EFFECT: higher cleaning power reduced cost price and improved ecology of the cleaning paste. 5 ex, 2 tbl
