FIELD: fire fighting, particularly, fire- extinguishing substances for extinguishing of fires of B and C chasses. SUBSTANCE: fire-extinguishing substance contains powder or granules from opal- cristobalite rock. They are used in solid or liquid phase. In solid phase, powder or granules of fraction of 0.001-5.0 mm are used. In liquid phase, they are used in form of mechanical mixture of water and powder or granules with ratio of S:L=1(3-7).
