SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of inorganic sorbents. The method involves drying, crushing rocks, treatment with aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide, or sodium carbonate with concentration of 5-7 wt % with subsequent thermal treatment at temperature 600-940°C.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing sorbption capacity of material by increasing specific surface area of sorbent.
