FIELD: fur industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used raw stock-dye manufacture when finishing fur sheepskins by cleaning them before refinement of hair surface. Cleaning is carried out on sawdust with turpentine added. Additional complex preparations based on sodium formate and on oxygen-containing cyclic terpenes with general formula C10H11O are also used in amounts 0.01 to 0.02 l both per one sheepskin, which are added 1.0-1.2 h after the beginning of cleaning. EFFECT: improved quality of skin tissue due to increased stretching strength and reduced skin peeling. 2 tbl
