FIELD: fur industry. SUBSTANCE: sea animal skins are subjected to slight salting in stretched state, brining in bath with formulations including sodium chloride and antiseptic (special preparation "FKh") with intermediate lying during 15-20 days. Brining is performed in two steps: first using 30-33% antiseptic solution in amounts 3-4 g/l and then, 24-36 h later, adding composition containing two special preparations and isopropyl alcohol. Slight salting in stretched state involves use of 1.5-2.0% sodium chloride and preparation "FKh" containing solution in amounts 100-120 ml per 1 skin.
