FIELD: rocket engineering; recovery of solid propellant charges. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, solid propellant case-bonded charges are placed on revolving device, set in rotary motion, pre-nozzle part of case is separated, and then charge is cut into ring-shaped portions by means of hydraulic cutting tool, whereupon charge portion under cut ring of case is crushed into crumbles. Wet crumbles of charge are either added together with hydraulic-cutting waste water as components for manufacturing water-helium explosives or burned in low-capacity furnace at high degree of cleaning of combustion products. Process can be visually controlled all the time. EFFECT: wasteless technology, improved environmental friendliness and fire safety. 3 cl, 1 dwg
