FIELD: recovery of discarded powder and fuel, especially ballistic-base solid-propellant charges, into industrial explosives. SUBSTANCE: first alternative concerning small- and medium-size solid- propellant charges includes cutting charges to desired length followed by coating blank grains obtained in the process with shielding cover on side surface and with shielding cover on butt-end surface, or coating it with shielding cover and arranging detonation initiator, or only arranging detonation initiator. Second alternative of proposed method enables recovery of large solid-propellant charges and is distinguished from first alternative only by that after cutting charges to desired length blank grains are milled to form sectors of desired size. Proposed methods provide for recovery of solid-propellant charges of different caliber into industrial explosive materials without pre-crushing them.
