FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves fixing diametrically opposing bearing members of lens to sclera. Superficial sclera flaps are formed in advanced. Incisions are produced in sclera and vascular tunic in opposite segments along oblique axis. Artificial eye lens with one bearing member is implanted through incision in sclera and brought out through the inferior sclera incision. The second bearing member is introduced through the superior scleral incision and attached to lens body. The distal ends of the bearing members are attached to adjacent sclera. The superficial sclera flaps are fixed on the same initial place. EFFECT: stable lens position. 1 dwg
