SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the novel strain Pseudomonas cepacia VDK that is able to utilize phenol and formaldehyde as the nutrient substrate simultaneously. This ensures to use its as a destructor of these toxicants in cleansing constructions. The strain is recommended to use for microbiological treatment of industrial and domestic sewages. The strain is not toxic and does not deteriorate ecological systems.
