FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method can be used in reconstruction of existing foundations so as to increase their load-bearing capacity. According to method, existing foundation is reset onto external piles and/or onto piles constructed under bottom of foundation. Sections of tubular piles are located under foundation primarily in holes made in foundation or in wall of building and/or above external piles. Inside its perimeter, foundation is fortified by means of beams. Sections of piles are pressure-forced into ground. Pile is connected with subsequent section by means of tubular coupling and after that pile heads are concreted. Before pressure-forcing operation, pile section is seated in standard circular holder of hydraulic jack. Length of holder is not larger than length of pile section. External diameter of circular holder is larger than diameter of pile section by at least 10 mm. Pressure-forcing of last pile section is carried out to value not exceeding length of standard circular holder. After pressure-forcing of last pile section, circular holder is removed and pile heads are embedded in concrete together with concreting of space created after removal of circular holder. Application of aforesaid method allows for speedier performance of operations especially in closed quarters and it ensures high reliability of fortified foundation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl
