FIELD: cleaning of contaminated gas-and-air flow from solid, liquid and gaseous admixtures; power engineering, chemical and mining industries, metallurgy and other industries. SUBSTANCE: dust collector with flow former is made in form of cylindrical housing with tangential inlet branch pipe located around nozzle and rigidly secured to lower half of cylindrical housing, and two-cone dust collector with relief valves; nozzle and flow former are located coaxially relative to cylindrical housing forming settling chamber under nozzle, inertial chamber above nozzle, vortex chamber with circular slot for forming thin-layer contaminated gas-and-air flow and passage of this flow between inner wall of cylindrical housing and outer wall of slot, vortex chamber under cover with circular slot for passage of thin-layer contaminated air flow separated by cone between inner wall of cylindrical housing and outer wall of flow former which is provided with flow-separating housing with inlet gas ducts and is engageable with outlet tangential branch pipe passing through hole in housing and rigidly secured to it. All these chambers are interconnected. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separating and entrapping solid and liquid particles from gas-and-air flow. 3 dwg
