FIELD: preparation of polymeric composition for disc brake shoes of passenger cars. SUBSTANCE: method comprises mixing rubber, phenolformaldehyde resin, metallic, powdery and fibrous fillers at pressure of 0.5-0.6 MPa. Rubber is first mixed with fibrous and metallic fillers till temperature of mixture of 85-115 C is reached, and the resulting mixture is then cooled to 10-30 C, phenol- formaldehyde resin and powdery filler are then added thereto and they are mixed till temperature of mixing of not higher than 40 C is reached at the end of mixing operation. EFFECT: higher quality of products, stable friction-wear properties thereof and reduced power consumption and less labor intensity for preparation of mixtures. 3 ex, 1 tbl
