FIELD: transportation of liquids. SUBSTANCE: proposal refers to means of pneumatic-hydraulic equipment and can be used to terminate variations of pressure and flow rate when working medium is pumped and to suppress water hammer. Pressure stabilizer is made of perforated pipe-line with connection branch pipes and damping chamber in the form of cylindrical tube made from elastic material embraced with rigid enclosure that is placed around pipe-line. Circular space between enclosure and tube is filled with insert of elastic material. Insert has recesses distributed over its surface and/or cavities distributed over its volume. Recesses can have shape of either circular, longitudinal or spiral grooves or recesses of unspecified shape. Insert can be produced in the form of cylindrical sections separated by rings of smaller diameter forming circular grooves. Cavities in insert can have form of longitudinal or radial grooves. Perforated pipe-line is covered by elastic membrane. EFFECT: reduced dimensions sluggishness of pressure stabilizer in wide range of working pressures. 8 cl, 6 dwg
