FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: magnetron designed for use in radar transmitters, microwave power supplies, industrial, medical, and other linear accelerators has anode unit with resonator system, side compensator of frequency drift due to heat incorporating case and overhanging probe made of materials having different coefficients of thermal expansion; probe protrudes above face of resonator system; case and probe elastically contact each other through friction surface areas; at least one of the latter is inclined to probe axis. Provision is made to prevent spurious resonance. EFFECT: reduced thermal lag and size, improved vibration stability. 5 cl, 5 dwg
