FIELD: electronic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic engineering, particularly, to vacuum generators of microwave oscillations - magnetrons. Magnetron contains cathode leg, anode with resonator system and energy output, its cathode leg, which includes the cathode fixed on the holder additionally contains device for suppression of parasitic microwave radiation at operating frequency of the magnetron made up as coiled quarter-wave throttle structure comprising hollow cylindrical outer conductor short-circuited on one side and mounted coaxially on the cathode holder so that its short-circuited end wall is directed to the external end of cathode leg inside of which there is short-circuited at one side hollow cylindrical inner conductor mounted coaxially on the cathode holder so that its short-circuited end wall is directed to cathode of magnetron. In the second version, device for suppression of parasitic microwave radiation at operating frequency of the magnetron is made up as coiled quarter-wave throttle structure comprising short-circuited on one side hollow cylindrical outer conductor mounted coaxially on the cathode holder so that its short-circuited end wall is directed to the external end of cathode leg, inside of which there is a hollow cylindrical inner conductor, wherein the inner and outer conductors are connected to each other by means of inner annular projection made at the end of external cylindrical conductor connected to the first end of inner hollow cylindrical conductor.

EFFECT: technical result provides reduction of parasitic microwave radiation at cathode leg while maintaining low weight and dimension characteristics of the device.
