FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording patient speech (free monologue during 4-5 min) on magnetic tape and analyzing it by means of computer-assisted transformation of time-dependent speech components. Then, individual photoacoustic stimulation frequency is selected in the bandwidth of 0.5-1.5 Hz and logopedic training is carried out in the selected photoacoustic mode. The training has three stages with speech material gradually becoming more and more complex and speech rate more and more rapid. Speech defect being completely corrected, mechanical portable acoustic stimulation unit is given to a patient. The patient uses the unit for controlling the own speech rate by pressing stimulation unit push button. rehabilitation cycle duration is 1.5-2 months long. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of speech function repair. 1 dwg
