FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrolocation and can be used in designing a system for detecting fishing vessels in protected sea economic zones or systems for protecting offshore oil extraction platforms from icebergs. The method of detecting noise signals from sea objects involves receiving signals using a multilink flexible stretched trailing antenna (FSTA), measurement of spectra of each of the received signals, spatial filtration of each spectral component separately in each link of the said antenna, measurement of energy of each of the results of spatial filtration and displaying the results of this measurement, as well as determination of optimum weights of energy of spectral components accumulated during measurement, where signal energy is measured in each direction of the coverage area through accumulation of results of spatial filtration of spectral components from different links of the said antenna, taking into account optimum weights.
EFFECT: increased noise immunity when detecting an object.
