FIELD: production of flexible roofing material. SUBSTANCE: method of production of flexible roofing material from worn out tires is realized by separation from tiers of bead rings, crushing of remaining part of tiers into crumb, separation of cordage fiber, devulcanization of crumb, introduction of filler, plastification and molding of material. Method is distinguished by the fact that separated bead rings and cordage fiber are subjected to pyrolysis with obtaining of volatile fraction and solid carbon residue. Volatile fraction is condensed, temperature-controlled at 80-90 C for 6-8 h, oxidized by air oxygen at 150-160 C for 10-12 h with obtaining of pyrolytic resin which is used in devulcanization of crumb separated from cordage fiber with crumb-pyrolytic resin weight ratio of 1:(0.15-0.2), respectively. Devulcanization is carried out at 220-240 C for 9-10 min with subsequent cooling of obtained devulcanizate. Filler is used in the form of carbon residue of the pyrolysis subjected to crushing. Mixing of the filler and cooled devulcanizate is performed in ratio of (0.2-0.34):1, respectively at temperature of 130-134 C for 7-8 min with subsequent cooling.
