FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has winding testing units which supply specific voltage level to rotor winding in order to detect winding faults. Goal of invention is achieved by introduced rotor transmission facilities which moves rotor assembled with winding and collector specific intermediate position, rotor lifting-dropping facilities for moving rotor from intermediate position to test position and for returning tested rotor into rotor transmission facilities, winding testing units, which apply specific voltage to rotor winding in order to detect winding faults and judging its quality. EFFECT: prevention of operations with electric motors which rotor winding has faults. 7 dwg
