APPARATUS FOR RETRACTING ELECTRIC CORD INTO VACUUM CLEANER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2200452 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has automatic/semiautomatic mode button positioned on button section and adapted for selecting automatic or semiautomatic mode of rotation of drum, pivotal finger mounted on drum cover, and automatic triggering member positioned for rotation in the vicinity of rotation controlling projection, which extends from predetermined site of drum cover under the action of resilient member such as torsion spring inserted into finger pin. Upon depression of automatic/semiautomatic button, automatic triggering member is caused to rotate for controlling raising of button part. Thus, drum selectively winds electric cord by means of brake part. EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for selecting automatic or semiautomatic mode of retraction of electric cord into vacuum cleaner main casing. 3 cl, 6 dwg
