FIELD: thermal engineering; heat generation by fuel oxidizing. SUBSTANCE: fuel combustion process includes heating of working medium by feeding air at α = 1.0-1.2 to movable bed of intermediate coolant simultaneously with introducing fuel in the latter; bed temperature is controlled by heat transfer from it with aid of working medium; fuel combustion is effected in fixed-movable bed of dispersed material (catalyst) formed due to gravitation during rotation of apparatus case about horizontal axis. EFFECT: provision for process control under all conditions and within comprehensive range of loads. 3 cl, 1 dwg
