FIELD: underground ventilation machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: device is intended for use in tunnel ventilation systems of subways. Device has programmed control unit, unit for setting parameters, operating mechanisms for turning blades of impeller and components of gate valve with sensors of their positions. Outputs of sensors are connected with corresponding inputs of programmed control unit which is also connected with control desk and smooth starting module. Smooth starting module is connected with consumer current sensor unit. Its output is connected to electric motor of ventilator through unit of thyristor commutators of phase voltages directly and/or through unit of starting and commutating apparatus. Application of aforesaid embodiment of control setup allows for cutting multiplicity of starting current and weakening of dynamic shocks in loading equipment thus prolonging service life of equipment together with improved reliability at actuation of equipment.
