UNIT LOAD RELOADING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities; reloading and turning over of unit loads. SUBSTANCE: proposed device can be used for reloading of unit loads in one plane with reversing of direction of movement in different levels. Tables is installed on bed frame by means of horizontal axle arranged above table shelf plane on wall provided with hinge-mounted load- handling lever with counterweight on end at side opposite to table shelf for turning the lever in vertical plane by means of screw rod coupling additionally the lever with table wall to form acute angle between load- handling and plane of table shelf. Size of angle is selected to provide balancing of device by counterweight at moments when load from feed conveyor gets onto shelf, and when load from shelf gets onto receiving conveyor. Plane of table shelf in initial position and final position forms, with horizontal plane, ands of tilting exceeding load friction angle when load moves along rollers in opposite directions. In initial position table shelf-plane is arranged lower than carrying surface of feed conveyor. Partially braking device is installed on turning axle. EFFECT: possibility of changing direction of load at its reloading without stopping the load, simplified design of device. 2 dwg
