FIELD: production of wheels with round teeth. SUBSTANCE: device has body with external and internal tapered surfaces and flange with tapered hole and external cylindrical surface. Body is inserted in flange hole. Cone angle of body external surface is equal to cone angle of flange hole. Axes of tapered external surface of body and flange tapered hole are positioned at an angle ϕmax to axes of tapered hole of body and flange external cylindrical surface, respectively. The angle ϕmax depends on module of wheel being ground and working wheel diameter. Advantage of working of wheels with round teeth by means of cup grinding wheel positioned at an angle in given device is comparative simplicity of motions and machine-tool construction, reduced thermal stress of process and improved conditions of cooling liquid supply to cutting zone.
