FIELD: machine engineering, possibly grinding different type parts especially of hard-to-grind materials having trend for occurring flaws such as burnouts and microcracking. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of mounting grinding wheel on spindle by acute angle α relative to plane normal to rotation axis; using builtup grinding wheel having n abrasive discs; eccentrically mounting abrasive discs on spindle by means of eccentric rings having opening shifted relative to outer surface; placing symmetry axes of abrasive discs by the same central angles one relative to another. Such grinding wheel with intermittent circumferential outer cutting surface changes kinematics of grinding process. EFFECT: lowered grinding temperature, improved dimensional stability and total strength of grinding wheel, enhanced efficiency and quality of grinding. 2 cl, 6 dwg
